Micky Pender & HHS Join the Team

Equillence is excited to announce Cavalor’s new ambassadors to its already highly ranked stars in the equestrian world.

Hughes Horse Stud and Mikey Pender are the latest to proudly get behind the world renowned Cavalor nutritional brand.

Based in Kilkenny in Ireland, Hughes Horse Stud, a family run business, owned and managed by Marion Hughes, former Olympic rider, who now devotes her time to producing young horses up to international level and compete all over the world.  During the season they base their competition horses in her husband’s, Miguel Bravo’s, stable in Portugal where they are more central for European shows.  Their Daughter Molly Hughes Bravo who was very successful in ponies and is Portuguese Junior Champion of 2020.

Mikey Pender has been part of their team for many years now and has achieved incredible success with HHS horses, winning two medals in 2016 World Breeding Championships for young horses in Lanaken.  Being the youngest ever rider, a just 19 years old, to win the Hickstead Derby.  He won the Puissance at both Olympia and Liverpool as well as an impressive 11th place in the CSI5* 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva.

“You have to have talent, be positive, clever with the horses and keep them as long as you can in the sport.  I believe in being a horseman, that is number one priority for me.” Pender’s philosophy which ties in perfectly with Cavalor’s own ethos of producing the most effective equine nutritional products and happiness of all horse from foal’s first steps to retirement.
